With great honor, we welcome you to the Advanced Placement (AP) Program at Private Grammar School. Jakeline Trejos Jimenez serves as the school's AP Coordinator. Mrs. Jimenez communicates with students, teachers, and families to support every step of the AP journey — from choosing the right courses, through proper preparation for AP examinations, to making the most of the opportunities these courses open.
The AP courses offered at our school are university-level classes, designed to challenge you academically while giving you the chance to earn college credit and/or advanced placement once you begin your university studies. They are among the most valuable ways to prepare for the pace and rigor of higher education, all while still supported by the teachers and community you know.

AP offers university-level courses that allow students to earn college credit and/or advanced placement in college. AP exam scores are recognized by more than 600 institutions in 66 countries outside the United States.

AP exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5. Scores of 3, 4 and 5 are considered qualified, with 5 meaning extremely well qualified and 3 meaning qualified.
