On September 25, 2025, more than 630 students from the Bratislava Self-Governing Region received the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (DofE) at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Education of Comenius University in Bratislava. Gavin Vessey, Charge d'Affaires at the British Embassy, also attended the ceremony. "Here in Slovakia, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the program this year, and I know how successful it is across the country. Looking at you today, I believe that not only the number of graduates is growing, but also their quality," he said, praising the achievements of the program and its graduates. A total of 29 participants from our school were awarded bronze and silver levels, and after eight years in the program, we have successfully reached 100 award-winning students at the bronze, silver, and gold levels. The award was also received by the coordinator and program leader and expedition leader Daniela Mojžišová Vigašová for leading 50 program participants in Česká.
