Nutcracker: The Curse of the Mouse King

On Tuesday the 31st of March, students from Drama Club Česká had their moment!

After weeks of intense rehearsals, the club proudly presented its brand-new original English production.

The story takes the beloved classic into a fresh and exciting direction. In the iconic Realm of Dolls, the brave Nutcracker must fight to save his world from the Mouse King and break a powerful curse. But the biggest question remains: Who will save the Nutcracker?
The performance was full of adventure, humour, beautiful costumes, creative props, and lots of heart — everything you expect from Drama Club Česká!

✨ Highlights of the Premiere:

A completely original adaptation written and performed in English
Stunning handmade costumes and props designed and created by Miss Kristy Javornická
Wonderful acting from both older students and elementary schoolers who joined the cast
Memorable characters including the heroic Nutcracker and many more from the magical doll world.

The general rehearsal at the Cultural House already showed how much love and effort the whole team put into the show, and the premiere delivered exactly that magic!
